Bird/Inktober 2023, Day 31: “Spotted Owl”
The final original piece for this year’s BirdInktober. I went big for this one!!
I’m doing a hybrid of sorts. Mainly Birdtober, but if the bird is a boring one (hey, it happens) then I’ll do the Inktober prompt for the day. And if both of them are boring, I’ll draw whatever tickles my fancy. The goal is to have fun, stretch some artistic muscles and draw some cool stuff.
Now, if you like this piece, here are some details:
Hand-drawn in pencil and ink on 300gsm cotton paper.
Hand-deckled edges.
Approximately 6x8 inches. It’s hard to give an exact number due to the hand-deckling of the edges mentioned above :)
Signed on the back. They’re just too small to use precious space and deface them with my chicken scratch.
ONE OF A KIND! No prints, copies or reproductions will be made of this one. Ever.
