These things we chase...
... These things we learn to need, they come with ties, with weights and snares.
We want them anyway. We take them so they'll plug that black hole in our heads, our hearts, our loins.
We take them, and they drink us and bind us to the ground. And once they have us bound, they kill us with our wants.
So we no longer hunt.
Nor get. Nor fly. Nor live.
This piece, as most of mine, is heavily allegorical and tied to a very particular time in my life. A mindset, rather, and I painted to remind myself of the virtues and the traps of ambition. It also marks the return of the Read Thread! If you've been with me long enough, you remember it. If it doesn't ring a bell, go take a look at the Birds & Bones collection. It's also my first mammal as the main focus of a print and my first piece using this particular colour palette, which I fucking love! That's a lot of firsts and returns and things. I'm excited about this print, if you couldn't tell. And I know you're excited too, even if it’s just a little bit. So, go on. Add it to the cart.
And if you want the whole Tiger Trilogy, you can find them all here!

Now, for the technical details...
As usual, these prints are lovingly crafted by me, printed on 320 gsm, cotton archival paper (that’s just a fancy way to say the paper is really awesome and warm and thick, with a lovely, velvety texture and creamy colour), using archival inks (this means this thing won’t fade in a hundred years. I’m serious. Treat it with a bit of care, and it will last a lifetime), using The Black Beast, my trusty 250 pounds beast of a Canon Printer.
tl;dr: the prints are really, really pretty, and the quality is top-notch. Just look at the pictures if you don’t believe me. And if you’ve bought a print from me before, you know what to expect.
