Wasp (Candied Critters)
Wasps are pretty little deadly things, and I love them for that. Unapologetically vicious and ready to tackle anything and anyone that dares come against them.
Now, that same set of qualities gives them a bad rap, so I wanted to redeem the Wasp Collective by making mine prettier. A red and black shiny killing machine, posing as a blood jade ornament. I hope I succeeded.
This is a treatment that I enjoy greatly, so I’ll probably continue making other candied critters down the line. But The Wasp will always be the first in this series of shiny, lickable hybrid beings.

Now, for the technical details...
This is an 8x8-inch print.
As usual, these prints are lovingly crafted by me, printed on 320 gsm, cotton archival paper (that’s just a fancy way to say the paper is really awesome and warm and thick, with a lovely, velvety texture and creamy colour), using archival inks (this just means this thing won’t fade in a hundred years. I’m serious. Treat it with a bit of care, and it will last a lifetime), using The Black Beast, my trusty 250 pounds of a Canon Printer.
tl;dr: the prints are really, really pretty, and the quality is top-notch. Just look at the pictures if you don’t believe me. And if you’ve bought a print from me before, you know what to expect.
