Western Tragopan
Well, that’s one weird-looking bird, right there. With a weird name, to boot. In real life, Tragopans are pretty colourful, but I wanted to do something different here, so I went the other route, with just ink and graphite washes, and a bit of white to make the highlights pop. I’m pretty happy with the result. It gives the bird some gravitas and ominous power, and we always need more of those in our lives. Take it home and let the bird foresee imaginary portents in your future.
Now, if you like this piece, here are some details:
Free shipping (tracked and insured) included. We don’t want this pretty bird to get lost in the mail, do we?
Hand-drawn in pencil, black and white ink and graphite washes on 300gsm cotton paper.
6x6 inches.
Signed on the back. They’re just too small to use precious space and deface them with my chicken scratch.
ONE OF A KIND! No prints, copies, or reproductions will be made of this one. Ever.
So, go for it. This is your chance to own an original by me before I turn famous and snobby and start charging an arm and a leg for a used napkin. Add it to the cart already! ;)
